Raystede Animal Shelter - Dogs

Yesterday was my second visit to Raystede. This time I concentrated on taking photos of dogs and rabbits who have been waiting for quite a while to find a suitable new home. All the dogs I met and photographed were absolutely lovely so it's hard to imagine why they haven't found anyone to give them a new home. If you are thinking of getting a dog or a rabbit, please do go and see them at Raystede. To meet the dogs, you will need to call to arrange a visit.

So here are the dogs, starting with the fantastic Scooby.

Exactly how silly is this dog...

Next, the utterly charming and cute Rupert.

Look! He can stand on one leg!

Ginny with her gorgeous colouring!

Ginny is bouncy and eager, and I think she wants to be able to fly.

She can be serious, too... but not for too long!

Bolt looks like a comedy dog when photographed with a wide angle lens.

Would you trust a dog with a smile like this?

Here he is photographed with a normal lens. Bolt can run as fast as lighting and is very playful, but also calm when needed.

Then there is Bernard, calm and handsome.

Utterly loving and lovable Bernard.

If you can give any of these dogs a home, or know anyone else who may be looking for a lovely pet, please contact Raystede directly.

Next time I will post photos of the cute rabbits!
